Housing & Construction Awards

Master Builders annual  Housing & Construction Awards recognise builders and trade contractors at the forefront of building innovation and excellence. The program exists to promote quality craftsmanship and showcase the excellence found in Queensland’s housing and construction industry.

Award categories

There is an expansive range of award categories, with winners for display homes and individual designs, home renovations, trade contractor awards and the ever-popular specialty awards, such as Best Kitchen and Best Bathroom.

How winners are chosen

Entries are judged by a panel of independent judges, who score all projects against set criteria including quality of workmanship, degree of construction difficulty, external appeal, siting and aspect, and amenities and aesthetics.

Each year in February, Master Builders calls for award nominations. Regional award winners are announced at ceremonies held in each major regional centre across the state between June and September. The regional awards culminate in the state final held in Brisbane in September/October.

Only Master Builders members can enter the Housing & Construction Awards program. If your home or renovation was completed by a Master Builder, why not encourage them to enter the awards
